Kevin Barnaville is a widely experienced
architect who has played a leading role in the design and construction
of a great variety of projects which range from involvement with the Thames Barrier Operational Area to small kitchen extensions in Clapham, London. His fields of activity include producing buildings
for education, commerce, retail, housing, health, community and broadcasting and providing
consultancy services for the Ministry of Defence both internationally and within the United Kingdom.
His Master of
Science degree from The Bartlett School of Graduate Studies at University
College, London involved fundamental research into the effects of
the spatial configuration of complex buildings and urban environments
upon the behaviour of the people who use the spaces.
His MSc thesis
research on the subject of Airport Terminal Building Design has been
presented as part of the MSc course in Facilities Management at the
University of Strathclyde, the MSc course in Architecture at the
University of Wales, Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff College
and at the offices of SBT and YRM architects airports design groups.
